The Employment and
Training Department at HRDC can help! Kris is certified
in Business Plan Development and is
available for one-on-one assistance with business plan
preparation. HRDC has a program called "The Plan," which
is a 5 week, 15 hour course designed to offer the basics
in business plan development. Qualified
instructors and guest speakers will help you understand
the components of being an entrepreneur and how to put
your ideas to work. This course will be offered
twice a year. If you are interested in attending,

Already have a
Business Plan, but Having Trouble with Financing?
Consider
scheduling an appointment to meet with HRDC’s Loan
Officer, Tammy. Tammy will be happy to discuss with
you financing options that may be available through HRDC’s Business Loan Program. Tammy is in the Lewistown office every
day from 8:00-5:00 and will schedule
appointments as needed.
Service Area:
Programs available for the following Montana counties:
Fergus, Golden Valley, Judith Basin, Musselshell,
Petroleum and Wheatland counties.
Services Provided:
Small business start-up and expansion loans, information
and technical assistance on cash flow, marketing plans,
business plans, etc. Loan maximum: $35,000, depending on
availability.
Eligibility:
Small businesses with 10 or fewer employees and $500,000
or less in gross annual revenue.
When
to Apply:
First of each month for consideration in that month.
Also Available,
City of Lewistown CDBG Loan Fund
Service Area: The boundaries of the City of
Lewistown.
Services Provided: Projects that focus on
business retention and expansion, and to encourage new
businesses to locate inside the City of Lewistown.
Eligibility: Must create or retain jobs for
low to moderate income persons.
When to Apply: Anytime, first come first serve
basis.
